Naw... I'm an open book. I'll share my day with the clerk at the coffee ☕ shop who knows me... and they'll share their stuff. All it takes is an ear and a few seconds. I've always done that. Hi's and Lows with anyone. Keeps me sane. Try the - 'random person who sorta knows you' - thing. It works! They'll listen! They do. 👍 ... is there another way to look at it Going Too Fucking Far NEW Blog Features RevealeD O O A Foolproof Method Posted Over on that NEW site O O

I agree with you that one normally does not dwell on the negative as one would be labeled a complainer. I hope you find a relaxing way to control the migraines.. 95 percent of people I find are not happy and just pretend and walk around with a fake smile. But once you seek truth and know truth then truth will set you free and no more worry's or fear in this made up reality. And once you get rid of time, money, religion we all will be set free unless you get a boil on your ass than that's different as health is number and also throw out the tv lol

It is certainly not a sigh of weakness. Human nature is such that we look towards what we want and do not have but we should be looking at what we have and be grateful... There are others who are far less fortunate then us ideally to find a partner who can be there to support and listen when your feeling blue would certainly be a beautiful thing There are a lot of relaxation tips you can try on the net to subdue your migraines with out medications I heard and not sure where now but .....Horizontal aerobics is an excellent exercise you can do to relief stress LMAO JUST ME A TALL PASSIONATE MAN WITH A HUGE HEART

I don't mind sharing with people I trust. Unfortunately, you cannot trust everyone. I had some really bad experiences, where someone used knowledge about me against me ... in the workplace! I have some friends who confide in me, because they know, I won't pass it on. I have a big ear and an even bigger heart. And I always have a hug to share ...
| ||
|
Its defintely not a sign of weakness, though i know some people feel it is. Im basically a private person and only share with those who have earned my trust. Usually tho, i am the listener....and then i write my thoughts/ feelings in a blog. We all need to get it out somehow...or else we will implode. Meditation, white noise, ocean sounds, yoga, hypnosis are all helpful with migraines. Much luck sent your way ~~

I don't have trouble sharing my lows...I just don't splash them all over the internet. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Nobody likes to be known as the complainer. So we keep it to ourselves. Always makes us look upbeat. It could not be much further than the truth. Sometimes you don't have anybody to tell the truth to. So you bottle it up. Not so healthy but what to do? It is preceived as a weaknees but everybody has this weakness. What is the answer? Not sure. Talk to somebody not in the public eye. Have the best possible weekend. Steve

I do, sadly, even though I know that's not really the case. I've always been in the mindset that I needed to be stoic in the face of adversity, so that I don't cause others undue panic and worry. That may have it's place to some extent, but as you pointed out pictures and other representations of life that only shows the thrilling and idyllic is hardly realistic and thus sort of meaningless. As the saying goes, if is the bad and trying times in life that make the good times all the sweeter... Sorry to hear you work woes are up to the level of causing some serious stress headaches, I hope you can find the right outlet for all that grief and frustration very soon!
| ||
|
No I don't think it's a sign of weakness. I'm usually a quiet person so I wouldn't share many things with a stranger, or even someone I know quite well. Plus with social media there's always that "Look at me!" some people associate with those outlets (which I can be guilty of at times).

So True!

Reality is there are few times that a job which makes us so miserable will ever change to such a degree that it morphs into something satisfying. It takes up so much of our physical time and psychological space. Removing oneself from that kind of work experience can be an equally daunting task but sometimes the challenge is part of the self preserving process. Tough mental place. It’s the “The Road Not Taken” and why timeless writing like that remains so relevant. Until you figure that stuff out, sex, lots of sex with orgasms...a timeless stress reliever

I am fortunate. I have a core of friends that I have shared some adverse times with , so sharing with them and them with me is normal

I tend to agree that many people tend to show only the most positive things in their lives, and understand how that warped view can cause others to be depressed about their own situation. But then too, talking about what IS good in your situation can be a good thing - for YOU. Personally, while I do occasionally mention them in passing, I don't linger on posting about that bad things, but then again that's pretty much an accurate reflection of what I'm truly experiencing. Shit happens - move on! I hope you find some relief for your current stresses. I always try to stay positive during the low times, and then move on. Life is too short.
| ||

I do tend to put a brave face on if I'm in pain (as I am at present). I do hope you can find a solution

Do you have trouble sharing your low points? No, I open up fairly quickly with the right people. Do you think it's a sign of weakness? Not at all... I see it as being strong, and very human. Thoughts from the Garden...

TIGHT HUGS it is not complaining if you are telling people who care about you the Facey place is TOO upbeat the Bird tweets are overly negative Here I tend to blog what I am feeling.... though sometimes the negative things I do down play

What a great blog and I do share my feeling for the most part as there is no reason to hold them in. I hope you have a great weekend my friend..

I need to come back and revisit this. I have had some really bad points this year and opened up to two people on here as well as some trusted off-site friends. (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

Weakness? Certainly not. I think that Truth is important, so telling just the joy and happiness of life can be, in it's own way, a lie. On a related note, there can be truth and beauty in failure, disappointment and pain. That's how I learn to do better the next time (I hope). (all just my opinion)

Spot on!! We tend to keep things in, so as to project that we have our shit together! Truth is, everyone is facing some kind of challenge or difficulty in their life! It's super healthy to have that special someone that we feel comfortable with to share or vent, and know that that person wont judge us!

I know you love the ocean , as i do....so yes that may help. Also...a fellow therapist when he was learning hypnosis 30 yrs ago, practiced on me.....and he put the image of the ocean in my head. Even today...it still works....practice being there...the sounds , the waves, the quiet, looking at the seaweed, the stones , the shells, the seagulls, feel the sun on ur skin etc. quiet n breathe deeply~~

Sorry babe! But yeah, this is where the "shit happens - move on" comes in to play - well as much as you can move on anyway. It DOES suck sometimes. CleavageFan the Weatherman The Truth about Me Movember, on HNW [post 3312759] My Private Blog - Tell Me ALL Your Secrets

I find it very hard to talk about things that trouble me. When my daughter died obviously I told people what had happened but talking about the effect it has on me is almost impossible. It's part of the reason I no longer write....I always wrote from my heart and my heart is too heavy now. ~~Anais Nin~~
